CUT OFF LEVELS (Adulterants) *Coming Soon

OX (oxidizing agents) form color from blue to brown black when agents such as bleach, nitrite and pyridinium chlorochromate are present.

pH values below 4.0 and above 11.0 indicate adulteration. Pad changes color from orange (low), green (normal), brown (high).

CR creatinine low levels are indicative of dilution. The color intensity is directly proportional to the concentration of creatinine in the urine.

Ni nitrite levels of up to 3.6 mg/dl may be found in some urine specimens. Nitrite pad changes from no color to pink (normal) to dark> purple (abnormal) above 50 mg/dl.

THE PROCEDURE
1. Twist test lid onto speciment cup after collection.
2. Lean cup on side to activate testing.
3. Read results. Control band must be present for test to be valid.
